We would like to introduce you a new limited edition of acoustic guitars for the year 2017. The Furch Limited 2017-LP is an all-solid woods six-string guitar made from premium tonewoods that provide the instrument with an exotic appearance and a beautiful balanced sound.

The top of the Furch Limited 2017-LP is made from high-grade Alpine spruce. The design of the top plate and the way it is tuned is the result of dozens of years of ongoing research and development, thanks to which Furch has achieved an optimal balance of volume and dynamics across the entire tonal spectrum. The back and sides are made from padauk, an exotic wood from Africa. The combination of these two materials provides the instrument with a stunning look. Thanks to the use of padauk, the guitar has a very balanced sound that accentuates brilliant high frequencies.

The body as well as the fingerboard and the headstock are adorned by fine koa binding with a white contrasting line. The rosette is also made from koa, and Furch has also used this Hawaiian wood for the fingerboard inlays, which have an unconventional rectangular shape. The side markers are made from genuine mother of pearl. The fingerboard, the bridge, and the headstock overlay incorporate another exotic wood – ziricote. For maximum tuning stability, the guitar is fitted with high-quality Gotoh tuners that feature an antique silver finish and ebony buttons.

The guitar’s striking appearance and acoustic quality are underscored by a super-fine layer of consistent high-gloss UV lacquer finish, which enhances acoustic properties and provides maximum protection at the same time.

The Furch Limited 2017-LP is produced in a limited series of 90 guitars in the D, G, S, and OM body shapes without cutaway. As was the case with previous limited editions, the quantity of produced guitars is final, and the same design will not be used in any model made in the future.
